For the repair and anchoring of trucks, pick-ups, and SUVs, we rely on the reliable LUV Clamping and Support System provided by Autorobot. This specialized system ensures secure and accurate positioning during the repair process, guaranteeing optimal outcomes.
Operating alongside our advanced equipment is the Caliper AZ electronic measuring system. To maintain consistency and precision, we import all our paints, sealers, and hardeners directly from Germany. This guarantees that we achieve a 100% accurate mix, eliminating any color variance from the manufacturer’s specifications. Our commitment to meticulous color matching ensures that your vehicle receives a flawless finish that perfectly aligns with its original shade.
As part of our dedication to sustainability, we prioritize environmentally friendly practices. All the basecoat paints used at Auto R Panelbeaters are waterborne paints. The majority of our equipment has been supplied, designed, manufactured, and installed by Silver Falcon Equipment, a prominent market leader in South Africa. Their expertise and dedication to quality ensure that we have access to top-of-the-line equipment that meets our specific requirements.
In particular, our Hurricane Spray booths are instrumental in delivering exceptional painting and finishing results. We utilize two downdraft Spray booth/Oven combinations, one of which is a specially designed high-roof spray booth. This unique feature, the waterborne High Raised Roof, allows us to accommodate vehicles such as the Volkswagen LT and the Toyota Quantum mini buses with ease.

Welding Equipment
We use a range of welding equipment manufactured and supplied by Gondelier Ltd. They are one of the leading suppliers of welding equipment to the international body repair industry.
Their Tecna welders are designed for welding galvanised panels, ultra high strength steel and steel body panels up to 6 mm thick and in certain applications, their spot welders can even be used on certain aluminium panels – although dedicated aluminium welders are recommended and preferred. Also in this range, is the Tecna Control 3664 Inverter spot-welder (13500 Amp ) which is specifically suited to spot-weld the high strength steel ZSTE 340 being used on almost all European cars. This steel is lighter than normal steel, due to alloys that have been added during the manufacturing process and is designed to simultaneously be light and strong (it must not be
able to tear or fold easily in the event of a collision). To weld this correctly, electrode force, correct power and correct tip size and shape are of crucial importance and the Tecna Inverter spot welder is designed to give factory quality welds that addresses these three crucial factors. It should be noted that the Tecna Control 3664 inverter spot welder is Audi AG approved.
